Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST ) a Deemed to be University under section 2 of the UGC Act 1956 established by the Department of Space (DOS) Government of India, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral programs inboard areas of Space Science, Technology, and applications. This year IIST has secured 8th position in the All India ranking published by Ministry of Human Resource Development among all the Universities in the Country.

1. Aerospace Engineering B. Tech
2. Avionics B.Tech
3. Dual Degree B.Tech and MS/MTech
The 5-year dual degree program leads to B.Tech Degree in Engineering Physics and any of the following Post Graduate degree Specialization 1. MS in Solid State Physics II. MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics III. MS in Earth System Science and IV. M.Tech in Optical Engineering
