Andhra Pradesh Inter Results Out

The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education has released the Intermediate results on 19-April-2016 at 10.00 AM at Sub-Collector office, Vijayawada. The results of both first and second year are released on the same day for the first time. The results are released by HRD Minister, Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao. The intermediate examinations ended on 18-March-2016. For the first time, the valuation of Vocational course papers was done in online mode. The paper valuation has been held for 20 days. This year the valuation took at a brisk phase. HRD Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao has released the CD of the results and released the code.

A total number of 4,00,000 students appeared for the first-year examination. A total number of 1,00,000 students secured ‘A’ grade and 82,000 students secured ‘B’ grade and 35,592 secured ‘C’ grade and 11,000 students secured ‘D’ grade. A total pass percentage of 64% recorded. Girls outshine boys by securing 74% of pass percentage.

A total number of 4,70,000 appeared for the second-year examination. More than 1,00,000 students secured ‘A’ grade. A total pass percentage of 73.78% is recorded. Even in second-year results girls outshine boys by securing 76% of pass percentage.

Krishna district stood at the first place in the pass percentage. A total pass percentage of 81% has been recorded.

The Board of Intermediate has received appreciation all over Andhra Pradesh for declaring results in a short period of time. The pass percentage has been increased 5% compared to last year.
