Chhattisgarh Couple Secure Top Position in State Public Service Commission Exam

A couple from the state of Chhattisgarh had been able to crack the state Public Service Commission Examination that had been conducted this year. Abhinav Singh and Viibha Singh had been able to secure the first and the second rank for the position of a Chief Municipal Officer.

In an unusual romantic story of a couple from Chhattisgarh, a husband and wife have been able to crack the state Public Service Commission at the same time. An even better turn of events, the couple were also able to rank 1st and 2nd as well. The State Public Service Commission examination had been conducted for the position of a Chief Municipal Officer.

The couple, Abhinav Singh and Vibha Singh both have been able to score a good mark in the examination, hence, be able to achieve the first two ranks in the examination. The husband, Abhinav Singh was able to score a total of 298.37 marks, meanwhile, Vibha Singh, the wife, was able to score a total of 283.91 marks. The entire examination consists of two different categories, i.e. written and a personal interview. While Abhinav was able to score 278.37 in the written examination, Vibha was able to score 268.91. In the personal interview, Abhinav scored an impressive 20 marks while Vibha scored 15 marks. Both the candidates belonged to the General or Unreserved category.

Both Abhinav and Vibha Singh commented saying that it was their constant support for each other that resulted in such a positive result.

The written examination for the State Public Service Commission examination had been conducted on the 5th of May 2019. The candidates were then further shortlisted as per their performance in the written examination and were called for the personal interview, which had been conducted for two days, i.e. 9th July 2019 to 10th July 2019. The Commission had also released the results as well as the merit list for those candidates who had appeared for the personal interview.
