Theater Students of Doon University Enact a Skit

The theatre club of Doon university "Dramebaaz" organised a skit "karaamati kaan"; a political satire. The Chief guest for the event was H.O.D of the school of design, Mr. Bhatnagar. The cast consisted of Nishant Vashisth (SoC) as the director, Kunal Kataria (SoC) as assistant director, Suraj Negi (SoC) as technical director, Rakshita Vasta (Eco) for makeup and costumes, Shashank Shukla (SoC) as the king, Ravi Pandey (BBA) as darban, Vyom Rastogi (Eco) as darabn, Prince Tiwari (SoL) as Karamati Ali, Jyoti Singh (SoL) as police officer, Abhishek Tiwari (SoL) as announcer, Tejasvi Dubey (maths) as news anchor.

Every actor was able to justify their character, conveying their message clearly, while many of their dialogues consisted of satirical comments on the ongoing political conditions of India. Their performance has helped in setting more life to the campus of Doon University.

About Doon University: Doon University is a state public university located in the city of Dehradun in north Indian state of Uttarakhand. The university was established by Government of Uttarakhand through an Act of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in October 2005.
