DTE Maharashtra to Conduct CET for Integrated B.A./B.Sc-B.Ed Admissions 2018
- DTE Maharashtra will conduct a common entrance test for integrated B.A./B.Sc - B.Ed course admissions 2018.
- The course is currently available in 10 colleges of two popular Maharashtra universities.
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will now conduct an entrance exam for admission to four-year long integratedB.A./ B.Sc - B.Ed courses. The entrance exam for admissions 2018 will take place in an online mode on 7th July 2018.
Until last year, admission toB.A./B.Sc-B.Ed coursewas done on the basis of merit. However, from now on,DTE Maharashtrahas decided to conduct an entrance exam from the2018-19 academic sessionwhich will be mandatory.
B.A./ B.Sc - B.Ed CET 2018 Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed class 12th from science/ humanities with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply forCET for the Integrated B.Edprogramme. However, the minimum pass percentage for the reserved category candidates is 45%.
Given below is the complete schedule of CET 2018. The online registration for the entrance exam has already begun from 11 May 2018.

TheB.A./B.Sc-B.Ed coursewill be offered in 10 colleges that mostly underSavitribai Phule Pune University(SPPU) andNorth Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The central government has been pushing the universities and colleges to introduce more integrated courses for a long time now. In theeducation budget 2018, it was announced that integrated programmes would be made compulsory for colleges from the2020-21 academic session.
