The India Meteorological Department, Shimla, has issued a high alert across the states for September 1 and 2, 2025 (Monday and Tuesday) due to Heavy Rainfall in the state. Himachal Pradesh has been experiencing heavy rainfall over the past few days, with sudden flash floods due to cloud bursts and waterlogging. The state has experienced major infrastructure damage, with roads blocked or washed away, bridges washed away, and houses collapsing due to landslides. As per reports, the weather will be the same with gradual improvement from September 3.
