Dr. Ravi Mohan Prasad , Head, Training & Placement Cell, gives details of the new placement initiatives and in a greeting message said, “ IIT Ropar cordially invite the esteemed organization to participate in the campus placement process for the students graduating in May 2017.
IIT Ropar was established in 2008 with an aim to produce world class engineers so that they can establish themselves in the higher echelons of any field they venture into. The institute started its programme with offering B.Tech. in three mainstream engineering disciplines
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering.
Right now the institute is operational at the transit campus at Rupnagar in Punjab. It is around 45 km away from Chandigarh. IIT Ropar excels in myriad fields of study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In May 2017, the sixth batch of the institute graduates and it is a matter of great pleasure for the institute. The institute takes this opportunity to invite potential companies to experience and evaluate the dexterities, skills, competency and talent of students and select them as to absorb them into their esteemed organizations.
