As per the words of India’s Ambassador in the US, Harsh Vardhan Shringla urges the aspiring students of America to choose India as one of the countries to pursue their higher education degrees. The statements were made during the 71st Annual Conference and Expo of Association of International Educators, where he stated that India is on its way to becoming the 5th largest economy in the world.

One of the statements that had been made by the Indian Ambassador in the US was that the Indian Education System has put the University Grants Commission (UGC) which looks over the standards of university education including coordinating, determining as well as maintaining those standards.

Shringla informed the students that the Indian Education System has become the third largest education system in the world. India currently houses over 900 Universities and more than 43,000 colleges all over the country. He also mentioned that all the universities and colleges in India have the capacity to enrol over 30 million students under the various departments of study that are available in the country.

Shringla had also mentioned that studying in India would also ensure that the students are receiving a top-notch education which is at par with the courses and programmes that are provided by Universities and colleges all over the world. He also mentioned that there are millions of programmes that are offered by different universities and colleges across the land for the students to choose from. He added that the courses range from the latest and the greatest technological courses such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Cognitive Computing, etc, to courses in Ayurveda, Yoga, different language courses such as Hindi, Sanskrit, as well as classical music and dances.

Shringla went on to mention that the vastness and the prosperous sectors of the education system of India have ensured that the students not only receive world-class education but are also offered the opportunity to be employed by the different “Fortune 500” companies. He added that education in India has been designed to create products that showcase the highest skill among different competitors.

To prove that the Indian Education system has in many worked wonders for the students under its wings, he mentioned that most of the successful companies all over the world are led by students have studied under the Indian Education system. As examples, he had mentioned the names of Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai, who have been students of under the various top Universities and Colleges in India, were now leading some of the biggest companies in the world.
