Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) 2020 Result Released
The Indian Navy has announced the result of the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) 2020. It is conducted twice a year for Officers selection in various branches/entries of Indian Air Force such as Executive, Educational and Technical.
The result of the Indian Navy INET exam 2020 has been released on the official website (joinindiannavy.gov.in). Those who appeared for the INET exam can check and download their results. This new entrance exam was launched last year by the Indian Navy for the direct entry of officers to various posts. Till now the shortlisting process of the candidates was done by the Services Selection Board or SSB. The selection was done on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in their graduation and post-graduation, especially for particular entries. After the introduction of the Indian Navy Entrance Test (Officers), SSB will be considering the scores of the candidate in the INET (Officers) conducted for the year of admission.
The candidates who have qualified INET 2020 will have to appear for the interview. The Indian Navy is conducting the recruitment drive to fill up 144 vacancies for various posts. The direct link to download the INET 2020 result is given below.

INET 2020 is a computer-based test and through this, candidates will be selected for permanent as well as short-service commission officers. This will be applicable for the candidates who have completed their graduation or are in the final year. The Indian Navy Entrance Test (Officers) will be conducted every 6 months. The announcement for the same will be made once every six months as well. Therefore, all interested candidates are advised to be up to date with the dates of the examinations and get themselves enrolled in the field that they wish to join, as per the academic qualification of the candidate.

The entrance examination will be conducted in four different sections, viz. English, General Knowledge, Reasoning & Numerical Ability and General Science & Mathematical Aptitude. For the candidates to be called by the SSB, they will be required to pass in all of the sections of the examinations. If they pass, they will be further screened basis the entry preference that they filled up as well as the score obtained in INET.
