The Karnataka Examinations Authority or KEA has declared the Karnataka PGCET 2021-22 round 1 seat allotment result on its official website on 18th January. Candidates who entered their options between 11 and 13 January and participated in the mock allotment process after, will be able to view the Karnataka PGCET 2021 round 1 seat allotment result on the official website from the aforementioned date. 

After the declaration of the round 1 seat allotment result on 18th January, the KEA officials will conduct the choice exercising activity for the candidates followed by the payment of admission fee till 24th January. The candidates who will be allocated seats in the Karnataka PGCET 2021 round 1 seat allotment have to report to their respective colleges by 25th January. The candidates must follow these simple steps to check the Karnataka PGCET 2021 round 1 seat allotment result from the official KEA website - 

  1. Go to the official KEA website through the direct link provided on this page

  2. Click on the link that reads - PGCET 2021 M.Tech, MBA and MCA 

  3. Click on the “Round 1 seat allotment” link now

  4. Enter your PGCET 2021 application number or hall ticket number along with the “Submit” button

  5. Check the seat allotment list to find out if you have been offered your first preference seat/s

Post-Karnataka PGCET 2021 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result

After the KEA officials announce the Karnataka PGCET 2021 round 1 seat allotment result on their official website, the candidates, who will be allocated seats, will be offered the following three choices - 

For candidates satisfied with the allotment

  1. Download the challan

  2. Deposit the admission fee

  3. Download the admission order

  4. Visit the colleges where seat has been allocated

  5. Report to the KEA officials regarding joining an institution through the official website 

For candidates satisfied with the allotment but wish to participate in the next seat allotment round

  1. Download the challan

  2. Deposit the admission fee

  3. Opt for a better choice compared to the one allocated

  4. Cancellation of the previously allocated seat in case of a better allocation in the next round, otherwise the previous allocation remains intact

For candidates not satisfied with the allotment and wish to participate in the next allotment round

  1. Surrender the allocated seat

  2. Re-enter options for the next round allocation

For candidates not satisfied with the allotment and wish to withdraw from the seat allotment process

  1. Surrender the allocated seat

  2. Apply to withdraw completely from the seat allotment process
