KBN College Organize Faculty Development Program

Management of KBN College, Vijayawada commenced faculty development program on 3-June-2016. Under this faculty development program assistant professors and newly joined faculty will be trained for three days on “The methods of teaching in an effective way”. The faculty development program was inaugurated by College Chairman, U Sambasiva Rao. On this occasion, he spoke to the faculty members about the importance of teachers.

He said that “Teaching is a noble profession. The students must be though in a way through which his/her skills must be developed. The teaching and learning process must go in a balanced manner. Whatever the lecturer has taught in the class must be received 1005 by the students. Lecturers must give challenging tasks for students in academics time to time to develop their skills. It is advisable for the faculty to give knowledge to the students on the current ongoing issues related to changes in technology or education system and other related issues. Through this students will have an idea about contemporary issues which will help them to succeed in various competitions and interviews”.

Inaugural session was attended by the College Principal, Vice Principals of Intermediate, Degree and PG wing and HOD’s of various departments.
