MAH MBA CET 1 April Exam Analysis 2025 (Available): Shift-wise Difficulty Level, Topics with High Weightage

MAH MBA CET 1 April Exam Analysis 2025: Both shifts of MAH MBA CET 2025 exam for April 1, 2025, have been concluded, and as per the student feedback, the overall difficulty level of the Slot 1 exam was moderate to difficult and it was tougher than last year's Day 1 Shift 1 exam. The question paper was quite lengthy, as per many students. The RC section of the question paper was lengthy, and the Verbal Ability section was majorly Vocabularly based question. The Quantitative Aptitude section was also very lengthy and had a lot of calculation-based questions. The Logical reasoning section only had 3 puzzles, and the rest of the questions were miscellaneous. Abstract Reasoning portion included mostly figure counting questions.

The overall difficulty level of the MAH MBA CET 2025 Day 1 Slot 2 exam was Difficult and Lengthy. All three sections were quite difficult, especially the Quantitative Aptitude section, which was very lengthy and included mostly calculation-intensive questions and topics like Arithmetic, Mixtures and Alligations, Algebra, Modern Maths, Geometry, etc. Many questions across all sections in the slot 2 question paper were taken from last year's CAT and XAT exams. The Logical Reasoning section included nearly 20-25 Quant-based questions, and the rest of the question sets were from CAT and XAT previous year question papers, making it the most difficult section of the MAH MBA CET 2025 Day 1 Shift 2 exam. The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section also had tough vocabulary questions and long RC passages from CAT and XAT past year papers. The only section that was on the easier side in this slot was Abstract Reasoning which included water images, mirror images, odd one out, and figure counting based questions.

A summary of the feedback collected from the test takers who participated in the MAH MBA CET 1 April 2025 shift 1 and shift 2 exams is presented below:

Shift 1

• The overall difficulty level of the MAH MBA CET 2025 Day 1 Shift 1 exam was Moderate and Lengthy, and it was tougher than last year.
• The majority of the students who appeared for the Day 1 Shift 1 exam found the question paper to be lengthy.
• The Reading Comprehension portion was quite lengthy for many students
• The Verbal Ability section was doable and mostly included vocabulary-based questions, and there were no grammar-based questions.
• Some of the RC sets only had 1 to 2 questions.
• The Quantitative Aptitude section was also lengthy, as per many students, and this section included many calculation-intensive questions.
• There were only three questions based on Puzzles in the Logical Reasoning section, with most of the other questions being miscellaneous.
• Questions from Blood Relations, Directions and Arrangements were abundant in the Logical Reasoning sections, whereas Syllogism based and input-output questions were missing in this section this year.
• Abstract Reasoning section included figure counting questions.

Shift 2

• The overall difficulty level of the MAH MBA CET 2025 Day 1 Slot 2 exam was Difficult and Lengthy.
• The Quantitative Aptitude section was very lengthy and included mostly calculation-intensive questions and topics like Arithmetic, Mixtures and Alligations, Algebra, Modern Maths, Geometry, etc.
