Maha Governor Gives Nod to MUHS University Exams
Maharashtra Governor has granted MUHS permission to conduct UG and PG exams. MUHS has taken a decision to conduct all its summer examinations as per three alternative plans, depending on the situation from July 15.
Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Maharashtra Governor has granted MUHS permission to conduct UG and PG exams. According to the official report, Governor of Maha who is also the Chancellor of State Universities has granted his permission to conduct UG and PG examinations of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS).
While conveying the approval, Governor appreciates the detailed plan of MUHS for organising the medical examinations As per the plan, MUHS will conduct theory examinations from July 15 to August 15, 2020, in a phased manner
In a letter to the Governor, Mr. Deshmukh stated that the university has unanimously decided to conduct all its summer examinations as per three alternative plans, depending on the situation, from July 15 onwards. if the situation is stable. According to the second plan of MUHS, incase the examinations could not be held as per the first plan due to the COVID-19, then the same exams will take place from August 16 to September 15, 2020.
The third plan of the university states that incase the examinations are not conducted, then the university will seek help from the Central Medical Council to conduct the same online.
MUHS discussed with the Medical Council of India, Nursing Council of India, and other central bodies before preparing the examination plans for UG/PG courses. The uncertainty that has come up with COVID-19 is the only reason MUHS came up with three plans.
