NIOS Admission 2025 Application Form with Late Fee opens on August 1

NIOS Admission 2025 Application Form: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is set to open its admission application process for 2025 with a late fee starting August 1. The late fee applicable would be Rs 260/- till August 15, 2025. After this date, late fee would be Rs 520/- till August 31, 2025. From September 1, 2025, till September 15, 2025, late fee would be the highest for block-I admissions, i.e. Rs 910/-. Candidates who have missed the standard registration deadline of July 31, 2025, now have an extended opportunity to enroll by paying an additional late fee. All applications must be completed online through the official NIOS portal. Once the payment and application are processed, candidates receive confirmation and their enrollment details via email or SMS. It is crucial to note that after September 15, 2025, no further admission applications for the current session will be accepted, and late applicants will have to wait for the next cycle.

Steps to apply for NIOS Admission 2025

• Access the official NIOS website at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
• Login using your email ID/ Username and password.
• On the homepage, click on the "Admission" tab to start your application.
• Choose the type of admission (stream, class - 10th or 12th, and select your state/ UT)
• Fill in the basic information, including your name, contact details, educational qualifications, and residential address.
• Select your desired subjects and preferred study center (you can choose up to three centers).

  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Valid ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.)
  • Proof of date of birth
  • Previous qualification certificates (mark sheets)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Residence proof
• Review all the details carefully before submission to ensure accuracy.
• Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card, net banking, or mobile wallet.
• Submit the application form after verifying all the information entered.
