Odisha NMMS Application Form 2025: The Odisha NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) 2025 application is available for Class 8 students pursuing education in government or government-aided schools. This scholarship is given to financially assisted meritorious students belonging to economically backward sections by sponsoring their higher studies from Class 9 to 12. The students have to register online on the NMMS Odisha official website on or before September 16, 2025, and subsequently produce a countersigned hard copy of the application to be submitted at school. The selection process involves a written examination with a Mental Ability Test (MAT) and a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Shortlisted applicants shall be offered a scholarship of Rs. 12,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria for Odisha NMMS 2025
- Must be in Class 8 of a government, government-aided, or local body school
- Minimum of 55% marks in Class 7 (50% for SC/ST students)
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹3.5 lakh
- Not eligible if educated in private schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, or residential schools with hostel facilities

Applicants can apply online from the NMMS Odisha official website on or before the last date.
- Visit the official portal: nmms. odisha. gov.in
- To create an account, click on Student Registration
- Select National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination
- Enter personal and academic details.
- Submit necessary documents (photo, mark sheet, income certificate, etc.)
- Submit the online application
- Print the form and have it countersigned by the school
- Hand over the hard copy in school to the concerned officials
