Second shift of the SSC GD 2023 Exam is being conducted today from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. The mode of the exam is online and the total marks allotted is 160. Candidates are to attempt a total of 80 questions, 20 each from 4 sections – General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness & General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Following the conclusion of Shift 2, examinees can go through a comprehensive analysis of the SSC GD paper. Questions from Profit & Loss, Mensuration, Percentage, Simple & Compound Interest were asked in the Math section.
Some of the Math questions seemed a bit calculative to some students.
There has been no major change in the question pattern.
GS questions were based on Polity, Current Affairs (2022), Sports etc. The majority of the questions were quite easy to attempt.
Hindi section had questions based on Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms & Antonyms etc.
The maximum weightage in Reasoning was given to Alphabetical & Number Series, Non-verbal Reasoning. None of the questions was too tricky or calculative.
Overall, the difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate.
The average number of good attempts by students is expected to be 70-73.
