TG Inter Exams 2026, Guidelines for Attendance Exemption by Private Candidates: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has issued a notification for private candidates who are appearing in Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 can apply for attendance exemption. This exemption permits students who were not regular students in any junior college, particularly from the Arts and Humanities streams , to appear in the exams without complying with the mandatory attendance requirement.
As per the notification, the eligible candidates have to apply for the exemption through the official website of TG BIE by filling out the application form and submitting the fee. Candidates who have passed their qualifying exam (such as SSC) from outside Telangana should upload an eligibility certificate from the board. Thereafter, the candidates can take the 2026 Intermediate exams as private students under the attendance exemption category.

Here are the TG Inter Exams 2026 Attendance Exemption Guidelines for Private Candidates:B.P.C. (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) students who studied previously can now opt for Mathematics as an additional subject.
Candidates who have been granted an attendance exemption will have to compulsorily attend the English Practical/Internal Assessment tests, as per the order of the TGBIE.
Invalid certificates or incomplete details will lead to rejection of the application.
Students should follow the prescribed Intermediate syllabus and examination pattern for preparation, as an exemption in attendance does not modify the syllabus, internal assessment, or evaluation pattern.
