UP DGME Releases Merit List for MBBS Students’ Transfer
As a result of unlawful admission of 150 MBBS students by the concerned college, the UP DGME has now released a counselling schedule to transfer these students to other medical institutes. Read the whole piece to get the merit list, schedule and affidavit.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh i.e., UP DGME has now released the merit list for the transfer of MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) students from Glocal Medical College , 2016 - 2017 Batch. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved to their transfer and to move forward with the process, the UP DGME released the counselling schedule and merit list for the concerned students.
Candidates can get the Merit List released by UP DGME for MBBS students’ transfer .
As per the schedule released by UP DGME, the students will be getting their allotment letters. Other than this, candidates will also be getting an Affidavit which should mandatorily be signed by them before they get admission to different medical colleges.

Candidates must bring along the following affidavit and submit to the concerned authorities to further the admission to the medical colleges.
The transfer of these MBBS students was initiated when the concerned medical college in 2017 was caught in controversy by granting admission to 150 MBBS students without getting permission from the Government. This matter was then taken to the apex court, where CGRG was asked to grant a compensation of INR 10 lakh and reinforce their admissions for jeopardising their future.
Upon this, out of 150 students, 96 medicos reached out to the high court demanding that they should rather be transferred to another medical institute. The MCI then looked into the matter and soon gave a green flag to the transfer of these students.
