Department of Information Technology, Poornima College of Engineering organised a Days workshop on Web Designing on 14th & 15th March-2016, under the aegis of CSI student chapter for II Yr and selected students of III year. The main objective of this workshop was to provide the fundamental knowledge of web designing with hands-on practice.
The technologies covered in the workshop include

- Jquery
- AJAX
- JavaScript
The inaugural ceremony of the workshop saw the presence of several dignitaries.Most of the dignitaries shared their views and interacted with the students.

Director of the college Dr. Om Prakash Sharma, welcomed Mr. Dharmveer Choudhary, TrainerVision World Tech Pvt. Ltd and Dr. Ajay Khunteta HoD - Computer Engineering welcomed Ms. Astha Alwani Executive- Vision World Tech Pvt. Ltd. by presenting mementos. The Director of PCE in his motivational address emphasized the importance of learning new technologies and tools for the students. He also highlighted the vast scope of web development field.
Mr. Amol Saxena formally welcomed the dignitaries and experts from Vision World Tech Pvt. Ltd. in his opening address. He also gave the introduction to the workshops with schedule and contents to be covered in the workshop.
The workshop was conducted by external training agency Vision World Tech Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur and the trainer were Mr. Dharmveer Choudhary, PHP Developer, Vision World Tech Pvt. Ltd.
HoD-IT, Mr. Amol Saxena proposed the vote of thanks to all dignitaries present, guests and participants.
