JoSAA 2021 Round 1 seat allotment result was released on October 27, and the process of seat acceptance has started. Candidates who have secured a seat as per the first choice will have to ‘Freeze’ option and accept the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee. The candidates will have to complete the online reporting process by uploading the required documents. Only those candidates uploading the documents without any errors will get admission confirmation. Important Instructions Regarding JoSAA 2021 Round 1 Seat Acceptance

The important instructions regarding JoSAA 2021 Round 1 seat acceptance are as follows –

• There is no Float & Slide option for the candidates who have been allocated seats as per the first choice
• Therefore, the candidates are required to accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance of Rs. 35,000 – General Category/ Rs. 15,000 – SC/ ST/ PwD
• The candidates are required to upload the documents specified by JoSAA to complete the seat acceptance process
• Candidates who got an allotment other than the first choice can go for the Float/ Slide option (if required). Such candidates will need to pay a seat acceptance fee as well, and the seat allocated in Round 1 will not get cancelled till he/she gets a better allotment in subsequent rounds

• After uploading the required documents, the candidates will receive an E-Mail or SMS if there are any discrepancies or issues with the uploaded documents
• Such candidates will need to respond to queries by solving the discrepancies
• Candidates can download the seat allotment slip once documents are uploaded and submitted
