JoSAA 2021 Round 1 seat allotment result was released on October 27 at 10:00 AM, and the last date to accept the seat & upload documents has been extended till October 31. Check the seat allotment status, Freeze/ Float/ Slide the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee.

JoSAA 2021 Round 1 seat allotment result has been released on October 27 at 10:00 AM. The candidates can check the seat allotment result by visiting the official website of JoSAA, i.e., josaa.nic.in or by clicking on the direct link mentioned on this page. After checking the seat allotment result, the candidates will have to accept the seat (if satisfied with the seat allotment) and pay the seat acceptance fee. Only those candidates paying the seat allotment fee will be able to take admission. Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment can take part in the subsequent rounds by choosing the Float/ Slide option. Along with the seat allotment result, the JoSAA cutoff for Round 1 will also be released.

Steps to Check JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2021

The candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to check the Round 1 seat allotment result of JoSAA 2021 -

  1. Visit the official website of JoSAA, i.e., josaa.nic.in or click on the direct link mentioned on this page
  2. Enter the JEE Main application number and password along with the Security PIN
  3. Check the seat allotment option in the Login portal
  4. Your seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen
  5. Accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee
  6. Upload the required documents and take a printout of the confirmation slip

Freeze, Float & Slide after JoSAA 2021 Round 1 Seat Allotment

After checking the seat allotment result, the candidates will have three options to choose viz., Freeze, Float and Slide. The detailed process to be followed while exercising any of these options can be checked below -

Freeze

  1. If you are fully satisfied with the seat allotment, you can choose the ‘Freeze’ option
  2. Candidates choosing the freeze option must pay the seat acceptance fee and upload the required documents
  3. These candidates are not eligible to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling

Float

  1. If you are not satisfied with the existing seat allotment and allocated a seat apart from the first option, ‘Float’ option can be exercised, which means that you are participating in Round 2 and waiting for a better allotment
  2. Candidates choosing the ‘Float’ option must note that the seat allocated in Round 1 shall not be cancelled till the candidate gets/ accept a better seat allotment in the subsequent rounds
  3. Candidates choosing the float will pay the seat acceptance fee
  4. ‘Float’ option is available to only those candidates who were not allocated a seat as per the first choice

Slide

  1. ‘Slide’ option is available only to those candidates who did not get a seat as per the first choice
  2. You can choose the Slide option only if you are looking for a better course allotment within the allotted institute
  3. Slide option will not be available in Round 5

After the KCET seat allotment, it is mandatory for all the students to visit the allotted institute for admission and seat confirmation. In case any candidate fails to visit the campus for admission or to confirm their seats, then his/ her seat is canceled.

Yes, B.Tech lateral entry is available at Siddhartha Institute of Technology & Science for which the admission is done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam. The candidates who have completed their degree in Diploma in Engineering course will be eligible for B.Tech lateral entry admission. Through lateral entry, the B.Tech will be for a total of 3 years duration.

For ICAR AIEEA, if you have a score above 200, you can easily get a good college. Your score is excellent with which you can get some of the top institutes for the admission. However, it also depends on the category you belong to(General/ OBC/ SC/ ST). Since you have not mentioned which category you are from, you can check the below table for ICAR AIEEA Cutoff 2020 which will help you get an idea:
