How to get admission to NIT via JEE Main?

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) is a prestigious institution that offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in engineering, technology, science and management programmes. To get admission to the NITs of India, candidates need to sit for the entrance exam. The JEE Main is one of the most popular entrance exams conducted for NIT BTech admission.  Candidates have to go through the following stages for admission into NIT via JEE Main 2024.

Step 1: Check your eligibility criteria

First and foremost, candidates seeking admission to NITs through JEE Main must verify that they match the requisite eligibility requirements as set forth by the authorities. Candidates who satisfy the JEE Main eligibility criteria 2024  will be considered for admission.

Step 2: Fill out the JEE Main 2024 application form

Apply for the JEE Main 2024 exam, by filling out the JEE Main application form 2024. Candidates must submit an application form before the deadline in order to be considered for admission to NITs. Due to the fact that JEE Main is held twice a year, applicants will have the option of taking the test once or twice. It should be noted that all of the information provided in the application form must be accurate.

Step 3: Sit for the engineering entrance exam

Candidates must take and pass the JEE Main entrance test in order to be considered for admission to NITs. JEE Main is a computer-based exam in which students must answer questions from the subjects of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. To ace the level of preparation you can download  CBSE Class 12 Previous Year Question Papers.
