The application form of NIFT 2022 is expected to be out in November 2021. The application process of NIFT is conducted entirely through an online mode and students need to visit the official website, i.e. nift.ac.in to register for the exam.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam will be held in the third week of January 2022. The official exam schedule of the NIFT exam 2022 has not been released yet. It is likely to be out soon and will be updated in the link provided below.
NIFT 2022 Application Process Latest Updates
November 10, 2021: The notification regarding NIFT admission 2022 is likely to be released soon. The application process is expected to commence from November 2021. Students preparing for NIFT 2022, can check out the exam pattern and syllabus of NIFT Entrance Exam.
Who Can Apply for NIFT 2022 Exam?
Interested candidates need to satisfy the detailed eligibility criteria of NIFT before filling up the application form. Here are details about who can apply for the entrance exam of NIFT.
UG Level:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination from Central/ State or any other recognised board of education.
Aspirants appearing for 10+2 or its equivalent exam in the admission year can also apply for NIFT 2022.
The upper age limit to apply for NIFT is 24 years as of August 01 of the admission year.
5 years of relaxation on the age limit is offered to the SC/ ST and PwD candidates.
PG Level:
Students must have passed an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute recognized by law in India or must have acquired a UG level diploma of at least 3 years duration from NID or NIFT.
Aspirants willing to apply for M.F.Tech must have either completed B.E./ B.Tech from any Institute recognised by law or B.F.Tech from NIFT.
There is no upper or lower age limit prescribed by the exam conducting body.
The application fee of NIFT 2022 for General and OBC category (Non-Creamy) candidates is INR 2,000 and for SC, ST, and PHP category candidates is INR 1,000. Aspirants must fill up and submit the application form of NIFT 2022 before the deadline prescribed by the conducting body ends as, after it, no request regarding admission at NIFT 2022 will be entertained.
