Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 66 which makes him the only prime minister who was born after the glorious year 1947. He is the 13th Prime Minister of India who took over charge after Manmohan Singh. PM Modi took the oath to give his best and all to the country in the year 2014. He has been appreciated for his speeches all over the world and his name is most familiar with everyone in the pool of prime ministers of India because of his international involvement. On his birthday, CollegeDekho is bringing to you a list of things that he has done to make India amazing and powerful. Check out the list and appreciate PM Modi for being himself because obviously, it is better than being somebody else.

Make in India

Make in India is a campaign which was launched by PM Modi on 25th September of 2014. His motive with this campaign was to make India self-sufficient which he has been able to do to some extent. With this initiative, India has surpassed the USA and even China according to FDI.

Startup India

Startup India campaign was launched with an aim to promote all the startups in India so that we do not miss out on any good idea. This initiative was announced by PM Modi on 15th August 2015 while he was giving his speech for Independence Day at Red Fort.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Under this campaign, a lot of college students and school students have been working towards making India better. This campaign has been most appreciated by students than anybody else. This campaign was launched by PM Modi on 2nd October 2014 and this campaign covers 4,041 cities.

Digital India

Education Budget

This year when the budget was announced, the education budget was increased by almost Rs. 4,000 crore and the credit goes to PM Modi. Last year the budget for education was Rs. 68,963 crore and this year it was Rs. 72,394 crores.

These were some of the many things that he has done. He has been in headlines and in controversies for almost every initiative he has ever launched. But if you think about it, every idea is criticised before it is accepted. So, let’s just enjoy and appreciate all the good things that he has been offering our country and will offer in the next 3 years being the Prime Minister of India. We just hope that he enjoys his birthday and continues to do good for our country.

Oh, and Stay Awesome.
