The MAHA TET Syllabus 2025 will be released soon. Since the online registrations have already started, the Maharashtra State Council of Examination is expected to publish the recent syllabus PDFs on the official website anytime. The MAHA TET Exam 2025 has two papers - Paper 1 is for those who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for those planning to teach Classes 6 to 8. Both papers carry 150 marks in total, with 150 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark, and there is no negative marking. The questions are based on the class-level syllabus as per the paper chosen.

The core subjects are different for both papers. In Paper 1 of MAHA TET 2025, the syllabus has five subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. For Paper 2, which is for upper primary teachers, the MAH TET syllabus has four parts: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and the Subject Concerned, which can be either Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Science.
