• Click on the option that indicates ‘Candidate Login’

• Click on the option ‘Forgot Password

• Now, you will see three options such as ‘Security Question and Answer’, ‘Verification Code to Mobile Number by SMS’, ‘Reset Link via E-Mail’

• You can choose any of the above options to reset the password.

• After you go ahead with any of the options mentioned above, you can get the password.

Recover JEE Main 2024 Login Password by Security Question

To retrieve the JEE Main 2024 login password using security questions, candidates can follow the instructions given below to proceed - 

• Visit the official NTA JEE Mains portal - jeemain.nta.ac.in 

• Go to the login window and select the option saying 'Only Registered Candidates Sign-In)

• Look for the option saying 'Forgot password' and click on that

• You will be redirected to a new page showing options to change your password 

• Select the option saying 'Using Security Question & Answer you chose during form fill-up' and click on 'Continue'

• A new page asking for the following details will open in a new tab -

1. JEE Main application number

2. The security question previously chosen at the time of form fill-up and the answer to that question

Recover JEE Main 2024 Login Password by Verification Code or OTP

Candidates can also retrieve the JEE Main 2024 login password by using an OTP or verification link sent to their registered email address or mobile number. Here are the steps to use verification code/ OTP to recover JEE Main password for login -

• Go to the official website of NTA JEE Mains - jeemain.nta.ac.in 

• Look for the login window and select the option saying 'Only Registered Candidates Sign-In)

• Look for the option saying 'Forgot password' and click on that

• You will be redirected to a new page showing options to change your password 

• Choose one of the following options:

                  a) Use the reset link sent to your registered email address and click 'Continue' 
                  b) Use a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your registered mobile number
