Maharashtra State Council of Examination will declare the MAHA TET 2021 result soon. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MAHA TET exam was not conducted in the previous two years. Many students who were preparing for MAHA TET for the past two years can now take a sigh of relief. Maharashtra state's Minister of School Education Varsha Gaikwad announced the schedule for this year's MAHA TET exam through which teachers for classes 1 to 8 in the state will be recruited. 

This year, more than 10 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the MAHA TET examination as the last test was conducted in the year 2019. Aspirants like Santosh Jagadale have been rendering their services at private schools in exchange for meagre salary have, in particular, welcomed this move. The officials are yet to release the complete schedule for the MAHA TET 2021 exam. The candidates can find out all the details regarding the eligibility test from the following sections.

MAHA TET 2021 Result

The MAHA 2021 result will be released on the official website soon. To check MAHA TET results candidates will require their registration number and password. Candidates will have to secure at least 60% and above in Paper 1 and Paper 2. MSCE will issue the TET Eligibility certificate to candidates qualifying for the exam.

How to Check Maha TET 2021 Answer Keys

Students can follow the given below steps to check the answer keys for Maha TET 2021:

  1. Visit the official website of Maha TET or click on the direct link given above.

  2. Click on the link on the homepage with Maha TET 2021 answer key.

  3. Click on the paper number and subject for which you want to access the answer key.

  4. After clicking on the subject, the answer key will be visible on the screen which the students can download for further reference.

How to Challenge Maha TET 2021 Answer Key

Students who find any discrepancy in the answer keys released by Maha TET 2021 can raise their objection by submitting the valid documents. After evaluating the answer and documents provided by the students, the examination board will release the final answer keys. Students will also have to pay a certain amount to raise objections in the answer key.

Students can follow the given below steps to raise objections in the Maha TET 2021 answer keys:

  1. Visit the official website.

  2. Click on the link with 'Answer List Condemnation' on the homepage.

  3. Enter your application number and password when prompted.

  4. Raise objection for the respective answer key along with uploading the proving documents.

  5. Pay the fee for answer key objection.

  6. click on submit.

    MAHA TET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

    MAHA TET 2021 eligibility criteria for Paper 1 and Paper 2 are as follows:

    MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

    • The minimum qualification required for the Primary Teachers is Intermediate (Class 12) with 50% marks and 45% for reserved category candidates.

    • Candidates must have passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education with at least 45 – 50% of marks.

    • Candidates pursuing final-year D.EI.Ed/ Bachelor of Elementary Education are also eligible to apply for MAHA TET 2021.

    • Candidates with a B.Ed degree can also apply for MAHA TET 2021 Paper 1.

    MAHA TET Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

    • The minimum qualification required for Upper Primary Teachers in Maharashtra is a bachelor’s degree (B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Tech/ BBA etc.,) with at least 45% to 50% of qualifying marks.

    • The candidates must have passed (D.EI.Ed)/(B.Ed) to be eligible for the post of Upper Primary Teacher.

    • Candidates pursuing final-year D.EI.Ed/ B.Ed are also eligible to appear for MAHA TET 2021.

    MAHA TET Application Form 2021 

    In order to appear in the Maharashtra TET examination, the aspirants will need to apply online mode. Here are the steps you must follow in order to appear for the MAHA TET 2021.

    • Visit the Official Website of MAHA TET- https://mahatet.in or click on the direct link to the official site given on this page

    • Click on Notification Tab on the Page

    • Search for a link that says MAHA TET Application Form

    • Read the instructions mentioned on the page

    • Click on Apply Online

    • Fill in the details carefully on the page you are directed to

    • Upload all the documents such as passport size photograph, signature, required certificates, etc.

    • Pay the application fee

    • Submit the MAHA TET Application form.

    Note:

    Candidates are advised to take a printout of the completed application form with all their details filled in. The application form may come into use for further recruitment processes.

    MAHA TET 2021 Latest Exam Pattern

    The Maharashtra State Council of Examination made some changes in the MAHA TET exam pattern in the year 2019. It introduced two different papers under MAHA TET, wherein Paper-1 is conducted for aspirants who wish to teach classes 1-5, meanwhile, Paper-2 is conducted for those candidates who wish to teach classes 6-8. The changes brought in by the MSCE made it mandatory for the aspirants who wish to be a teacher for classes 1-8 to appear for both Paper-1 and Paper-2.

    • Paper-1 for Teacher Posts in Classes 1-5

    • Paper-2 for Teacher Posts in Classes 6-8

    • Paper-1 and Paper-2 for Teacher Posts in Classes 1-8

    MAHA TET 2021 Paper-1 Exam Pattern

    The candidates who wish to teach the students in classes 1-5, will need to appear for MAHA TET Paper-1. This paper will also be required for those aspirants who wish to teach classes 1-8. Here is the detailed MAHA TET Exam Pattern for Paper-1.

    The MAHA TET Paper-1 exam pattern includes questions that will be asked in the MCQ format, each question carrying 1 mark. MAHA TET 2021 Paper-1 will be conducted for a total of 150 marks, divided equally between 5 topics, i.e. 30 questions each in every topic. The candidates will be given 1½ hours to attempt all the questions. Candidates will not be punished with negative markings for any wrong answers.

    MAHA TET 2021 Paper - 2 Exam Pattern 

    The MAHA TET Paper-2 is applicable for aspirants who wish to teach classes 6-8 as well as for those who wish to teach classes 1-8. The examination, like Paper-1, will be conducted for the posts of teachers available in the schools of Maharashtra. Those interested in appearing for the paper can check out the details of the MAHA TET Exam Pattern for Paper-2.

    All candidates who are interested in sitting for the examination must note that they will be given 1 and a half hours to attempt all the questions. The question paper will carry 150 marks, one mark each for every question. The marks have been divided among 4 topics, as mentioned below. Candidates must also note that there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
