Maharashtra HSC Bookkeeping and Accountancy Question Paper Pattern 2026

Maharashtra HSC Bookkeeping and Accountancy exam pattern is given below:

  • The Maharashtra HSC Book Keeping and Accountancy question paper includes 7 questions in total.
  • The first question includes five sub-parts for a total of 20 marks.
  • The second and third questions will be of 10 marks.
  • Fourth and fifth questions will be of 08 marks.
  • The last two questions will be of 12 marks.

Maharashtra HSC Passing Marks 2026

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts the Maharashtra HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) Class 12 examination for students across the state. To pass the exam, students must secure a minimum of 35% marks in both theory and practical components of each subject. The board also follows a grace mark (condonation) policy and awards divisions based on the overall percentage obtained. Students must score at least 35% in all subjects to qualify for higher education. While most subjects carry 100 marks , some subjects were earlier allotted 150 marks. Previously, the overall passing aggregate for Maharashtra HSC was 650 marks, which has now been revised and reduced to 600 marks.

Maharashtra HSC Grading System

The Grading System of Maharashtra HSC exam is designed in such a way that it reflects your performance throughout the year. Rather than relying on individual scores, it measures the overall performance, and grades are declared according to the marks range. The authority of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) method. Grades mentioned along with the percentage marks are mentioned in the table below.
