Changes in NEET 2025 Qualifying Codes

Code 3: Guidelines for PUC Science Candidates
Candidates who have cleared their Intermediate/Pre-Examination degree in Science stream from any recognized exam conducting body/Indian University/Board, must have the following as compulsory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. These candidates are granted admission through this code, to the medical colleges, after clearing NEET 2025 exam. Additionally, it is crucial for these candidates to prove that the qualifying exam includes a practical test in each of the mentioned subjects.
Code 4: Pre-Medical Course/Pre-Professional Test Graduates
Candidates clearing their pre-professional or pre-medical level qualifying exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects, as well as having practical tests conducted in each of these fields, are eligible to select this particular code for NEET exam. These candidates appear for the entrance test after passing either the Higher Secondary examination or Pre-university or equivalent exam.
Code 5: For Candidates Completing First Year of College
Candidates who've successfully completed their first year of study of a Bachelor's degree at a recognized University, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subjects and practical tests in each of these fields, are eligible to use this code. In this case, candidates must carefully check that their first year qualification is sanctioned through a university exam. Candidates must also be able to show proof of their Class 12 qualification, with the above-mentioned mandatory subjects in Science stream.
Code 6: For B.Sc Exam Graduates
NEET 2025 Exam Code 6 includes the candidates who have qualified a B.Sc degree with not less than two subjects, after their Class 12 qualification with the following mandatory subjects in Science stream: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Moreover, these candidates must have completed the B.Sc degree examination from an Indian University.
Code 7: Candidates with Equivalent Qualification
Candidates with an equivalent qualification to University/Board-recognized intermediate Science exam, are eligible to use this NEET 2025 exam code provided they have proven practical tests in Physics, Chemistry and Biology each.
Who is Eligible to Opt NEET 2025 Exam Code 7?
Foreign NEET candidates applying for the registration process are eligible to use the NEET 2025 qualifying exam code 7, only if they can prove their higher secondary qualification to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
