Fake Notice on NEET 2022 Exam Date Postponement
Recently, a notice circulating NEET 2022 exam date postpone was leaked. It mentioned that the NEET 2022 exam date has been shifted from July 17 to September 4, 2022. However, PIB (Press Information Bureau) instantly informed the aspirants that the notice was completely fake and the NEET 2022 exam date will be conducted on July 17, 2022 as decided earlier. This means that aspirants need to know that the NTA has not yet announced any changes in the NEET UG 2022 exam date.
Postpone NEET 2022 Exam Date by 40 days or 4 weeks
Candidates and parents all over India have requested PM Shri Narendra Modi to defer the NEET 2022 exam date by 40 - 45 days. The primary concern that aspirants face is that the state counselling concluded a few days ago and currently aspirants are occupied by appearing for the board exams. Candidates do not have the requisite time to prepare for NEET 2022 exam properly. Medico candidates expressed their concerns regarding the postponement of the NEET 2022 exam date by using hashtags such as #postponeneetug2022, #MODIJIdeferNEETUG, and #JusticeforNEETUG. The stance of the official authorities has been the same that the NEET 2022 exam will not be deferred and it will be conducted on July 17, 2022.
NEET 2022 Application Form Correction Re-Opened
NTA recently opened the NEET 2022 form correction window between June 14, 2022, to June 16, 2022. Candidates were allowed to edit/ modify only their category. Earlier, the NEET 2022 form correction window was opened between May 24, 2022, to May 27, 2022.
Record Registrations Witnessed for NEET 2022 Exam
NEET 2022 exam authorities witnessed over 18.72 lakh candidate registrations this year. This is the highest number of NEET 2022 registrations recorded till date. In 2021, approximately 15.44 lakh candidates gave the NEET exam. A significant jump of 2.5 lakh aspirants from last year has been witnessed in NEET 2022.
The NEET latest update 2022 is that out of 18.72 lakh applicants, 10.64 lakh candidates are women and 8.07 lakh test-takers are males. This is the first time in recent years that the number of females has crossed the 10 lakh mark for a medical entrance exam.
This sharp increase in the NEET 2022 application could be due to many reasons including the new update that the upper age limit of aspirants will be removed and people over 25 years of age will be allowed to appear for the NEET 2022 exam.

Director-General of the Armed Forces Medical Services has declared that the scores of NEET 2022 will be the criteria for deciding admission for only female candidates in their BSc Nursing Course 2022 at the following colleges of the nursing section of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS):
