TS CPGET JNTU, Hyderabad Eligibility Criteria 2025
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University offers MSc courses through TS CPGET 2025. Candidates seeking admission to the JNTU must check the eligibility criteria for admission below:
The candidate must have a qualified exam with not less than 40 percent marks or equivalent CPGA. On the other hand, the candidates from the SC/ST category only have to qualify for the exam to be eligible for TS CPGET 2025 .
The candidates who have qualified for the exam compartmentally are also eligible for the TS CPGET 2025. However, the candidate must fulfill the percentage criteria.
TS CPGET 2025 exam pattern for admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics, and Microbiology are as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
Meanwhile, the exam pattern of CPGET for Admissions into M.Sc. Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio-Technology for 60 Marks).
TS CPGET Women Reservation 2025
Candidates falling in the Women’s category must check the reservation policy below:
A minimum of 33.33 percent of the available seats in each course will be allotted to women candidates from each category, i.e. Open, S.C., S.T., and in all the groups in OBC non-creamy layer category taking a subject in each college as a unit.
This TS CPGET Women's is not applicable:
If women candidates selected on merit in each category form 33.33 percent or more of the seats therein
for seats under various special categories. In the absence of suitable women candidates in the respective categories, these seats shall be filled in with male candidates of the same category
