No changes made in 18 April JEE Main Final Answer Key 2025: Only 1 question remains dropped, 2 with two answers

According to the revised key released by NTA, 1 question has been dropped from 18 April JEE Main Final Answer Key 2025 while 2 acceptable answers are declared for 2 NAT questions. No change with April 17 key was noted.

18 April JEE Main Final Answer Key April 2025 : National Testing Agency has re-released JEE Main Final Answer Key April 2025 today, April 18, after the April 17 key was taken down. In the revised key, still only ONE question has been dropped for being incorrectly asked in the question paper. The question dropped is from the Physics subject. As a result, candidates will get full marks for these questions, no matter whether they have answered the question or not. The question ID of the dropped questions have been provided, along with the exam date, and the dropped questions in each shift. With the help of the final answer key, candidates can recalculate their score and understand their overall performance in the examination. The question dropped is from April 3 Shift 1. In 2024, 4 questions were dropped, combining all days, shifts, and subjects.

How Dropped Questions in JEE Main Final Answer Key April 2025 affect raw marks?

Here’s how the dropped questions from JEE Main Final Answer Key April 2025 will affect raw marks:

  • Candidates who have not answered the dropped question will get +4 marks (as per the marking scheme set by the authorities for every right answer).

  • Candidates who have answered the dropped question will get + 5 (1 mark extra to compensate for the negative marking for wrong answer)

  • Candidates who answered any of the two acceptable options for NAT questions will be given full marks. However, if a candidate answers 3.6 instead of 3.5 or 4, no marks will be awarded and negative marking will be applied as per the marking scheme.
