COVID-19 Impact: 3,000 CBSE Schools Open for Evaluation of Board Answer Copies
CBSE has been given permission by the Home Ministry to open 3,000 CBSE affiliated schools as assessment centers across the country to facilitate the evaluation of CBSE board exams answer sheets.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been granted permission by the Home Ministry to open 3,000 CBSE affiliated schools as assessment centers across the country to facilitate the evaluation of CBSE board exams answer sheets. The assessment process of the CBSE board answer copies for class 10 and 12 begins from 11th May 2020.
HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank expressed his gratitude towards the Ministry of Home Affairs for granting the permission. The evaluation process of CBSE class 10 and 12 board exam answer sheets begins from today i.e., May 11th, 2020 and the answer copies will be sent to the residence of teachers.
He further informed that as far as the transportation of board answer sheets to the residence of teachers is concerned, there is no restriction on the movement apart from the areas/residence falling in the containment zone.
Board has been given special permission for the operation of the CBSE evaluation centers and the 16 regional offices are granted permission to function without restrictions in Orange and Green zone and with certain restrictions in the Red zone. The evaluation process of CBSE board answer sheets will most likely be completed within 50 days.
Meanwhile, the CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams will take place in July. The exams will start from July 1 and continue till July 15, 2020. The detailed date sheet will be released soon.
