CUET 2023: List of domain subjects for Class 12 Commerce Stream

CUET 2023: While applying for CUET exam, it is very important to make the correct subject choices so that you remain eligible for all your preferred universities and courses. For this, more flexibility has been provided this year by the UGC and NTA. Instead of a maximum of four domain choices, an overall 10 subject choices have been given across all three sections. Out of the 27 domain-specific subjects, five subjects specifically belong to the commerce stream which are stated below while Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is a multi-stream subject for which commerce students can apply.

However, it is most important that the eligibility criteria of your preferred programmes and universities must be referred to before making the application. If at the time of admission, this criterion is not met, then the allotted seat of the candidate will stand cancelled.

CUET 2023 Domain Subjects for Commerce Stream

Candidates who are studying in the commerce stream in class 12 are eligible to apply for the following domain-specific subjects:

• Accountancy/ Book Keeping (301)
• Business Studies (305)
• Informatics Practices (308)
• Economics/ Business Economics (309)
• Entrepreneurship (311)
• Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics (319)

As per the revised pattern this year, General Test is no longer mandatory. If only the universities of your preference demand it then candidates can opt for it. However, if it is not, students can also select other subjects on its behalf. It shall however be noted that the subjects once chosen cannot be modified again.
