Dr. Dheeraj Sharma Assumes Charge as Director of IIM-Rohtak
Dr. Dheeraj Sharma worked as the professor at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Dheeraj Sharma assumed charge as the Director of Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak on March 1, 2017. The appointments committee of the cabinet confirmed the appointment of directors for ten IIMs across the country on February 10, 2017. Until March 1, 2017, Prof. Atanu Rakshit was the acting Director of the institute.
Dr. Dheeraj Sharma worked as the professor at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He completed his doctoral degree in marketing as a major subject and quantitative analysis and psychology as double minor subjects from Louisiana Tech University, United States of America (USA). He also presented his research theories and taught in various reputed educational institutions in Asia, Europe and North America.

Dr. Dheeraj Sharma achieved various awards for his professional and academic contributions. He also made around hundred publications in conference proceedings, books, encyclopedias and international journals. Currently, he is the member of Board and Advisory Boards of Indian Railways (IRCTC) and MILKFED or Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited.
