Education Curriculum Must be Practical, Socially Relevant and Creative: CM Yogi

While addressing masses on Saturday, Chief Minister, Adiyanath Yogi, talked about the need to change the present education system of the state from theoretical to practical. He also talked about, how changing the curriculum of the educational institutions can transform the youth of the state. By doing so, the institutes will create their own identities in the world as creative centers of education. The CM was delivering a speech at the concluding session of a week-long function at Digvijay Nath Post- Graduate College , Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the college.

In order to make the institutes socially relevant, teachers and parents of students must participate equally in various activities and schemes initiated by the government. The presence of teachers and trainers is quintessential in the government campaigns that aim to benefit students.

UP government has recently established a new development board for the improvement of Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Region. Educational and employment needs of the people will be the focus of developmental projects within these regions. The board members of development projects will be sitting with universities in the region to understand their systems. Accordingly, a plan of action would be prepared to make the changes.

CM expressed his satisfaction in bringing the government and education centers together for the accurate utilisation of the government policies and recourses.

Recently, the UP government also set up 15 medical colleges in the state to make medical studies more accessible to aspiring students. The continuous education reforms of the UP government seems beneficial for the youth of the state.
