JEECE Likely to Go Online from 2018
- The online application process for JEECE 2018 is expected to begin in the first week of April.
- There is no clarity whether the online exam scheme for JEECE will be implemented this year or next year.
JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) is planning to conduct JEECE exam for the admission to B.Tech course in online mode from this year or 2019. Already, JCECEB has invited tenders from the service providers who are ready to conduct JEECE exam in online mode. However, there is no clarity whether the online exam scheme for JEECE will be implemented this year or next year.
JCECEB has not yet released the official notification of JEECE 2018 exam. According to sources, the online application process for JEECE 2018 is expected to begin in the first week of April and the entrance exam is scheduled to take place in the second week of May. Students will have to wait for a couple of months to register for the undergraduate engineering entrance exam.

Over the years, JCECEB has been conducting the JEECE in offline mode. For the first time, a proposal has been made to conduct the entrance test in online mode. With the online process, all the activities from submission of the application to entrance exam will be online. Students will only have the option to submit applications in online mode. Similarly, biometric verification of the candidates will be done at the examination centres. Colleges with good computer labs will be chosen as examination centres. It will be easy for JCECEB to announce the results of JEECE exam within 15 – 20 days.

If JCECEB implements online exam for JEECE, the board will make mock tests available on the official website so that applicants will have an in-depth understanding of online exam pattern.
