JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2025 Round 1: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority released seat allotment results for the first round of JoSAA 2025 counselling on June 14, 2025 at 10 AM . Candidates can view the seat allotment result after each counselling round by logging in to the system. After each round of allotment, the individual JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2025, the institute-wise allotment result, and the opening and closing ranks will be published at the portal. To confirm their seat, they must complete three essential steps on their dashboard: uploading scanned documents, submitting their willingness, and paying the seat acceptance fee. If these steps are not completed, their allotted seat may be cancelled.

JoSAA covers 121 participating institutes, including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 40 Other GFTIs, with a total of 59,937 seats offered last year.

Candidates can log in with their Roll No and Password to view their seat allocation result and download a provisional allotment letter containing personal and allotment details.

To check the JoSAA 2025 cutoff, candidates can visit the official website at josaa.nic.in , navigate to the "eServices" section, and select "OR-CR 2025". After choosing the round, institute type, institute name, academic program, and seat type/category, candidates can submit their selection to view the cutoff on the screen.

To secure their allotted seat, candidates must complete three key steps: uploading required documents as specified in the information bulletin, submitting their willingness for further counselling rounds with options to FLOAT, FREEZE, or SLIDE, and paying the seat acceptance fee until June 18, 2025 (by 5 PM). FLOAT allows for potential upgrades, 'Freeze' locks in the current choice, and SLIDE automatically forfeits the current seat if a higher preference is allocated. Failure to pay the seat acceptance fee will result in seat cancellation.
