Khalsa University to be Set Up in USA
Khalsa University will be set up in USA in Bellingham city and all the formalities in this regard have been completed. 125 acres of land has already been purchased for the establishment of the University.
Khalsa University is soon going to be established in USA in Bellingham city. All the formalities have been completed and a community Khalsa college and Khalsa school have commenced with the teaching work. Director of Khalsa University, Manjit Singh Dhaliwal met Prof BS Ghuman who is tHE VC of Punjabi University for some academic help needed for setting up the university. 125 acres of land has already been kept aside for establishing the university in Bellingham. The university management has also procured the building of a government college for handling the affairs of the university.

Prof Ghuman is willing to help which includes handing over literature pertaining to Sikhism in the form of journals, scriptures, digitised books and other literature available with the Punjabi university. Prof Ghuman and Dhaliwal will be working in collaboration for promoting Sikhism through student exchange and faculty exchange programmes, seminars, training workshops etc. Ghuman also mentioned Punjabi University will also help with imparting instruction via an online platform through the help of the government of India sponsored massive open online courses which are being produced by the Punjabi University’s media centre.

Khalsa University offers bachelor’s as well as master degree courses and it is accredited or recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India. It is known for its infrastructure, has smart classrooms and a well-stocked library with extensive collection of books.
