General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College (Popularly known as Khalsa College) is an autonomous college, situated in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was founded in the year 1960 by Padam Shri Dr. Khushdeva Singh and Dr. Ganda Singh, who was the famous historian and also the first principle of the college. In 2016, the college has awarded “A College with Potential for Excellence” by the University Grant Commission (UGC) New Delhi. It is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. Currently, Khalsa College provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various specializations including Humanities, Science, Computer Science, Agriculture, Food Processing, Commerce and Management. It also provides some vocational courses in the area of Software Development, Food Processing and Engineering, Agriculture and Automobiles. The college is well-equipped with all the modern facilities including a library, ATM, Bank, Sports, Gym and Canteen. It also offers hostel facilities for all the boys and girls separately.

Overall: The college is very beautiful and I love to go moreover the class and teacher were also soo goo nevertheless the infrastructure is also so beautiful and the best things of my college is bhangra which is very famous.i fell very proud that am study in this college
Placement: The college also prove the college facilit and they also guide the students toward their achieved goal and more over any one students want placement there is separate department in which you can contact with them
Infrastructure: The ground of college is very beautiful and the basket ball coach is well managed and the football playground is also very well designed to play and they have also volleyball net to play
Faculty: The library and canteen facilities are very good but they can improve it more because some time the food was not soo good and they also sell the food at fair more price
Hostel: There is no hostel facility of college that the college don't provide the room facilities to boys but they provide better room facilities to the grils and they also gave take up faclity
