Lucknow University to Hold Single Entrance Test for Admission to 12 Affiliated Colleges

Lucknow University (LU) will conduct single entrance examination for the admission to professional courses in 12 colleges affiliated to LU. The name of the entrance examination is LUACMAT or Lucknow University Associated Colleges Management Admission Test. This year, National PG College, Lucknow will conduct the entrance examination. As per the schedule, the LUACMAT entrance examination will take place on June 24, 2017.

Lucknow University will conduct single entrance examination for the following UG courses: -

• B.Voc in E-Governance and Software Development
• B.Voc in Finance and Banking
• Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication
• BBA-IB (International Business)
• BBA in Tourism
• BBA in Management Science (BBA-MS)
• BBA
• B.Com (Hons)
• BCA

Rakesh Jain, Admission Coordinator at Lucknow University revealed that a total number of 2,000 seats would be filled through this entrance examination in various colleges affiliated to Lucknow University. The varsity directed all the affiliated colleges to submit the details of a total number of seats in various courses by April 13, 2017.

The entrance exam will be held in four cities that include Lucknow, Lakhimpur, Faizabad and Gorakhpur and the application process for the LUACAMT 2017 will begin from May 2, 2017. The candidates will be given the option to submit application forms online or offline. The candidates need to submit the application form by June 20, 2017. Only those candidates who qualify in the entrance examination will be given admission to courses mentioned above in any of the 12 affiliated colleges of Lucknow University.
