There were many loopholes in the NEET 2018 examination as the NEET authorities failed to provide the adequate number of exam centers in the state of Tamil Nadu. Over 2,000 candidates had to travel to adjoining states such as Kerala, Karnataka and some had to travel to Rajasthan for the exam which was held on 6th May.

This created a lot of confusion and chaos among students and their parents as well. A lot of parents even expressed their anger regarding the same. Following these complaints, the Union Human Resources Development Minister, Mr. Prakash Javadekar has notified that medical entrance aspirants will not be required to travel to different states from next year onwards. He promised the students that the ministry will set up more exam centers in native cities based on the requirement.
