Registration Process for Admission to SRM University-Amaravati Closes on July 15

The registration process for the admission to B.Tech course at SRM University, Amaravati closes on July 15, 2017. The state government of Andhra Pradesh gave clearance for setting up SRM University in the new capital region of the state, i.e., Amaravati in 2016. The varsity is all set to begin the academic session from August 2017. The varsity has laid certain guidelines for the selection procedure. The detailed selection procedure is given below.

Selection Process: -

• 70% weightage is given to the candidates who have a rank within 1,25,000 in JEE Mains examination or 35,000 in SRMJEE or a minimum test score of 1,200 in SAT subjects.
• CBSE and state board candidates with 95% of marks in PCM subjects will be also given preference.
• The marks or percentage of students in three examinations will be normalised and then graded.
• Students who submit more than one score must note that the top ranking one will be considered.
• 20% weightage is given to the candidates for their performance in interview.
• 10% weightage will be given to the extracurricular/ co-curricular activities of the students.

• On the homepage, enter the necessary details in the registration box.
• You will get a confirmation link on the e-mail ID.
• The login credentials will be sent to your registered mobile number.
• You can fill the online application using the received details.

July 15, 2017, is the deadline to complete the registration process. Shortlisted candidates for the interview process will be intimated through e-mail or registered mobile number.
