50% Students from JMI Residential Coaching Academy Clear UPSC Prelims
Over 102 students out of the 200 students who had taken up training from the Residential Coaching Academy at Jamia Millia Islamia have been able to clear the UPSC prelims. These students have now been able to appear for the Civil Services (Mains) examinations 2019 for which RCA will also provide coaching.
After the release of the UPSC Prelims results that had been declared on 13th July 2019, Jamia Millia Islamia’s own coaching centre, also known as Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) had witnessed over 50% of its students clearing the UPSC prelims.
A staggering 102 students out of the 200 students who appeared for the UPSC prelims after attending the coaching classes from RCA were able to clear the examinations. Since clearing the prelims, the candidates will be called for the Civil Services Examinations (Mains) 2019 which are expected to take place from the 20th of September 2019. As per sources, the residential Coaching Academy will also be providing the students with the coaching classes as well as conducting personality tests so as to mould them for the Mains examinations. Sources state that the academy will also be selecting 30 students, which will include SC, ST, female candidates as well as minorities candidates and provide them with free residential coaching.

In order to facilitate the training of the students for the Civil Services (Mains) examinations 2019, the students will be provided with various facilities and opportunities to better their competency for the examinations. Activities and sessions such as Mock Interviews, guest lectures from experts, along with tests will be conducted so as to provide the students with a better idea of how to clear the Civil Services examinations. Regular classes will also be conducted along with the library as well as hostel facilities available for the students to use round the clock.

Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy had been established in the year 2010 and since then has been on a drive to train some of the future IAS, IFS, IRS, IPS, IRTS, I.Fos, etc. Till now, the coaching centre has been able to create around 200 such civil services candidates. The students who wish to apply for the preparation will be required to visit the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia and follow the instructions that have been listed.
