As per the ICAR UG counselling schedule 2025, students will be able to register for the ICAR AIEEA UG counselling process from September 2 to 10, 2025 (till 11.50 PM) as the last date to register has been extended. And the ICAR counselling form correction last date is also September 10, 2025. Students must visit the new portal of the ICAR UG examination 2025 @ icarcounseling.com to complete the counselling registration process. The choice filling and seat allotment schedule is yet to be released; however, it is expected to begin by September 15, 2025. • To apply for the ICAR counselling process for UG courses, students will be required to visit the official website of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research at icaradmission.in.
• On the homepage, you will be easily able to spot the registration link for ICAR UG 2025 counselling. The ICAR counselling form will open up on your screen after you click on it.
• Fill in the necessary information, such as personal and academic details etc. Upload the required documents and preview the form before hitting submit.
• Once you’ve made the final edits to your ICAR counselling application form, you can hit submit.

ICAR UG Seat Allotment Process 2025

Students can get a detailed insight into the seat allotment process for ICAR 2025 admissions as given below. Mentioned below are the aspects that are taken into consideration by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research while allotting seats:

• Ranks and Merit: ICAR authorities will release a merit list based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET UG exam. This merit list/rank list will act as a basis for the seat allotment process.
• Reservation Criteria: Certain seats are reserved for different categories in the CUET UG exam. A separate merit list is prepared for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories based on the percentage of seats reserved for them. The authorities will then allot seats to these reserved categories based on this merit list.
• Students’ Preferences: Based on the choices and their respective priorities selected by the students, the authorities will prepare the seat allocation lists after every round of ICAR counselling.

During the ICAR seat allotment process, students can choose float/slide/freeze options in the following situations:

• Students can choose the “float” option if they are not completely satisfied with the current allotment and would like to explore better options.
• Students can choose the “slide” option if they are satisfied with the college but would like to get another course in the same institution.
• Students can choose the “freeze” option if they are satisfied with both their course and college and would like to finalise their admission, thus ending the scope for participating in the subsequent rounds.

ICAR UG College Reporting

Once the students have been allotted seats after the ICAR counselling rounds, they will be required to show up at their respective colleges along with their provisional admission letter and other required documents. Here is the detailed procedure for ICAR admission 2025 after the seat allotment process:

• Provisional Admission Letter/Cancellation Letter: If a student’s seat is confirmed after the document verification process, then a provisional admission letter will be issued by the authorities. However, in case of seat cancellations, the ICAR authority will issue a cancellation letter.
• Physical Document Verification Process: Once a student has downloaded the provisional admission letter, they will be required to report to the college along with their original documents, ID proofs for their physical verification.
• Seat Acceptance Fee Payment: After reporting to the allocated college, students will be required to pay INR 10,000 to confirm their admission. In some cases, students may be required to pay the entire first-year fee. ICAR Admission 2025 will be confirmed after the successful fee payment.

How Many Rounds Will Be Conducted For ICAR UG Counselling?

In total, the ICAR counselling UG 2025 will take place in four rounds. Students who are unable to get a seat in these four rounds can take part in the ICAR UG Mop-Up Counselling Round. The Mop-Up Round will be conducted if there are still any vacant seats after the 4 rounds.
