Will NEET PG 2026 be Conducted in Single or Two Shifts?
According to the previous years’ trends, it is safe to say that the NEET PG 2026 exam will be conducted in a single shift. The NBEMS conducted the NEET PG 2024 in two shifts to accommodate the large number of appearing students. It comprised two separate question papers and exam timings on the same date. This decision was made in view of the limited test centres and to ensure better supervision. However, it posed many difficulties, leading to the disruption of the exam’s integrity.
Therefore, in 2025, the Supreme Court ordered the NBEMS to conduct the NEET PG entrance exam in a single shift every year. Adhering to the court’s decision, the NEET PG 2025 Exam was held on August 3, 2025, in a single shift. Keeping this in mind, many students and experts are of the opinion that the NBEMS will continue to conduct the NEET PG 2026 Exam in a single shift. In case there are any changes regarding the same, an official statement will be released by the conducting body.
