NCERT is insufficient for examinations such as NEST. The National Entrance Screening Test and JEE Mains exams cover topics from the science syllabus for classes XI and XII, which are nearly identical to those in the NCERT/CBSE syllabus. However, the NEST syllabus is broader and more detailed. The NEST Biology curriculum is complex and covers a wide range of subjects, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and evolution. Having knowledge of these topics will greatly increase the candidate's chances of passing the entrance exam and open the door to a prosperous career in the biological sciences.
