CollegeDekho creates awareness on Sustainable Energy through SunPedal Ride with Sushil Reddy, a Guinness World Record holder, who will be traveling from Kanyakumari to Srinagar in an Electric Vehicle from Kanyakumari to Srinagar.

In this latest endeavor to build a better future, it is supporting Sushil Reddy, Guinness World Record Holder for the longest journey on an electric bicycle (Solar Powered) in India as part of solar energy and electric mobility awareness cause - The SunPedal Ride.
As part of the cause’s latest initiative, CollegeDekho shall be supporting Sushil while he travels from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, covering a distance of around 5000 KM using an electric vehicle. He’ll make some detours on his route to interact with students across the country.

Sushil will visit multiple colleges where he will interact and conduct online and offline seminars while sharing his experience and talking about the importance of e-mobility and choosing sustainable alternatives. Some of the colleges that Sushil will visit as part of the SunPedal Ride include:
Keeping in line with its vision, the company aims to not only guide the youth on education but also create awareness about following sustainable practices that benefit the environment as both education and sustainability are important pillars for powering a better future for India. Partnering with the SunPedal Ride, CollegeDekho aims to spread awareness amongst students about energy conservation methods to improve the environment and energy conservation, while presenting important facts about solar energy through talks in universities, colleges, and even small communities. Also talking about sustainability related courses and careers in line with the government’s announcement vision of green growth.
Sushil Reddy commenced his journey from Kanyakumari on March 13th and reached Kochi after spending some time with students in Thiruvananthapuram. His next destination is Calicut.
