I have completed my graduation in BBA and I am interested in pursuing an interior designing course. I am confused between a Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Interior Design. What should I choose?

Dear Student,

Since you have already completed your graduation in BBA, pursuing a diploma or advanced diploma in interior design is a suitable option. After the completion of a diploma course, you will be sufficiently qualified and can work as an interior designer in famous firms and companies. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree such as B.Sc. Interior Design, B.Des in Interior Design etc. also has its own perks. After the completion of an undergraduate degree, you will get access to better work and pay opportunities as compared to a diploma course.

A diploma course is only 1 -2 years long while a bachelor’s degree is wrapped up in 3-4 years. Diploma course in interior design saves up time and helps an individual gain work experience early in life. With the flow of time, you can easily catch up (salary-wise and job-wise) with an individual possessing a bachelor’s degree.
