The University of Calcutta was established in Asia on 24 January 1857. Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, this university is a state-owned organization. Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022 Application Form
The Calcutta University MA Application form has not been released yet by the officials. It is expected to be out in the month of May 2022. Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following Calcutta University eligibility criteria to be considered for Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022:
Qualification | Applicants must be bachelor’s degree holders in the required discipline from any recognized board. |
Marks | Applicants must have scored at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST category) in their qualifying examination to be eligible for admission. |
Appearing | Applicants appearing for the final semester examination in 2022 can also apply for admission. |
Note: Students who have completed 3 Year B.A./B.Sc. Hons or its equivalent from Calcutta University or from Autonomous Colleges/Other Universities not before 2020 are eligible for admission.

For PG Courses admission, there will be a Calcutta University Entrance Examination as the admissions will be offered based on the score secured in the Entrance Exam only.

Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022 Merit List
Calcutta University will release the merit list for PG candidates after a few days after the Entrance Examination ends. The merit list will be released for every registered applicant through online mode. Names of shortlisted applicants along with their rank secured for the counselling procedure will be declared in the merit list. Furthermore, shortlisted applicants will be called for the counselling procedure based on the rank secured by the applicants in the entrance examination.
Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022 Counselling Procedure
Calcutta University M.A. Admission 2022 counselling process will be held for every shortlisted applicant who has acquired a rank on the merit list. It will be mandatory for the applicants to pitch in for the counselling procedure as seats will be allotted to them through counselling process only.
The final admission will be given to the applicants based on the scores secured by them in the determined examination followed by the final document’s verification rounds.
